Devotional Day – today was a little different – “Facts and Truth”

We rushed back home so we could change and come back to the PCC for our volunteer Ask Me this week.

Whew, it is finally Wednesday.
I didn’t think Tuesday was ever going to end.
Started early with a 9am Zoom from Utah, meetings at the office and then take off for town.
Doctors appointment, visit the bakery, rush back to campus for class.
Back down to Honolulu to take friends to the airport for their flight, Walmart stop and back to La’ie!
Another long day ended, Whew!

Day full of QPR Trainings, weekly meetings, finding students for visits. Finished off the day in the temple with 10 missionaries to do family names with them. It was a wonderful day

Happy Valentines Day❣️
We celebrated ALL week. . .
So a regular day of meetings, our BYUH missionary lunches and a quiet evening of leftovers and a movie at our apartment. We watched “The Last Rifleman” and had a wonderful evening.

It was a Cleaning/Yard Work day, but a fun dinner and evening!

Church at 8am. Great youth talks, great Sacrament Meeting and Sunday School. Then the bishop asked us to speak next week! So, prepare a talk this week. . . And our family is coming to spend the week and will be here with us to attend our ward next Sunday!
For our Personal Devotional today we listened to “He Loveth That Which Is Right” by Elder Marvin J Ashton from March 5, 1989
This is about Hyrum Smith, Joseph Smith’s older brother. This quote describes him:
The Integrity of His Heart”
“And again, verily I say unto you, blessed is my servant Hyrum Smith; for I, the Lord, love him because he loveth that which is right before me, saith the Lord” (D&C 124:15).
John Taylor said of Hyrum: “If ever there was an exemplary, honest, and virtuous man, an embodiment of all that is noble in human form, Hyrum Smith was its representative.” John Taylor also said of Joseph and Hyrum Smith that they are “two of the best of Adam’s race.” Hyrum was an older brother, six years senior to Joseph, and stood by his side in life and death. The age differential never seemed to make much of a difference in Hyrum’s attitude toward his younger brother. He was his friend, his advocate, and strength.
